Sochi entered the top ten leaders of national tourism brands

Center for Information Communications "Rating", agency BCGroup and magazine "Rest in Russia" conducted a joint study, which examined more than a thousand objects - from natural phenomena to unusual routes and even food products, with which the regions attract their guests. In one hundred leaders, Sochi and its mountain complex "Rosa Khutor" took the 10th and 13th lines respectively, overtaking such popular places as Lake Baikal, the tourist route "Golden Ring of Russia" and Elbrus.

- In total, there were 62 "display objects", 21 gastronomic brands, 11 national art crafts, five tourist routes and only one event in the top 100 tourist brands. Ahead of Sochi and the resort "Rose Farm" were only the sights of Moscow and St. Petersburg, including the famous Tretyakov Gallery, the Moscow Kremlin and the Hermitage, "the Izvestia newspaper reported.

- The applicants were selected as business cards of the territories. Then, as part of the survey respondents were asked if the brand was known to them personally, whether it was associated with the region and would like the interviewee to go to the region to get acquainted with the brand. After the percentage of answers, "yes" to each question was summed up, and depending on the number of points scored, the brand took its place, "said Arsen Aristakesyan, General Director of the Information Communications Center" Rating ".

This study shows once again that Sochi is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Russia, and it is not by chance that the International Tourism Forum in Sochi, SIFT, is held annually - the main business platform for domestic and incoming tourism in Russia.
